Paul Botts, MBA, Principal With a solid understanding of the construction business and strong people skills, Paul works in partnership with construction clients and project owners, developers, and lenders to provide the most effective risk management, insurance, and bonding programs. An integral part of every program is Paul’s problem-solving ability in explaining and resolving complex issues arising out of the interaction between these programs and the numerous contracts involved in every construction project. In 1998, Paul spearheaded King & Neel’s first general liability and workers’ compensation "wrap-up" insurance program. Since then, he has accounted for several additional wrap-up programs and has been a key driver, contributor, and advisor in establishing user-friendly documents and manuals in the administration of wrap-ups, benefiting all involved parties, ranging from subcontractors to owners. Paul got his start in the insurance business in 1971 while working on his MBA. In 1979, he joined King & Neel as an Account Executive and became a Director, Officer, and Owner. Paul earned his undergraduate degree and MBA from Central Michigan University. He played basketball on an athletic scholarship and was drafted by two professional teams after his senior year. In 1999, he was inducted into the Central Michigan University Athletic Hall of Fame. In 2007 Paul started Risk Solution Partners, LLC.
